Holi: Festival of colours on Paradise Beach

MLH devoted to surfacing the heritage and culture of many celebrations across the globe is now making its way to a colourful celebration that brings all colour to light. In association with Colind (Colombo Indian Expat Community), Holi the most carefree festival that’s great fun to participate in would be creating waves at Mount Lavinia Hotel’s very own, Paradise Beach on 30th March 2012 from 10am to 3pm the latest. A day filled in water, with color all over your skin and clothes. This biggest festival which is popular in India marks the end of winter and the abundance of the upcoming spring harvest season and very popular amongst all age groups. Mahika of MLH states, “We in turn want all to have a great day on the beach with the spirit of Holi with colours, music and indeed the immaculate spread.” We will set up sprinklers and all the accessories that bring about the colour festival into light adding our initiatives with the DJ spinning the best of Bollywood and Bhangra beats to make it a truly memorable event,” she adds.
