partners, support and encourage less experienced musicians wherever possible
and help to create exciting musical events for CHOGM 2013.
NOTE : All
musicians from The Commonwealth Resounds!
whether they be young, old, professional, students or amateurs, are generous hardworking
volunteers. Unlike many other more privileged Commonwealth Delegates, they have
been expected to raise their own funds to come to Sri Lanka. This is not easy
for musicians, who struggle to earn a living at the best of times – so they are
extremely grateful to those who have helped them.
The
musicians will be delighted to offer their skills and musicianship to Sri Lanka
in any way that is needed, and hope to learn a great deal from the rich culture
of this wonderful country.
