Swim in association with the Mount Lavinia Hotel in a grand scale on the 1st
and 2nd of March 2014.
“The event has taken place on the shores of Mount Lavinia
for the past 76 years, hence it is very appropriate to take this sporting event
to the next level we launched a mascot last year” states Mahika Chandrasena,
Group Manager, Corporate Communications at MLH. “Wallace brings in a fun aspect
to the sport as the hospitality industry’s focus is to encourage everyone to
have a 'whale of a time', and so a mascot that epitomizes us, the destination

Wallace the Whale.”
