Beaujolais Nouveau unveiled paired with cuisine from renowned Chef Fabrice Boulahouache


The first wine from the Beaujolais region of Burgundy which is released on the third Thursday of November traditionally marks the official release date for Beaujolais Nouveau. Mount Lavinia Hotel in collaboration with the Embassy of France in Sri Lanka and the Alliance Francaise de Kotte are proud to release it in Sri Lanka on 15th November 2012, for the third consecutive year.

“MLH loves to make people aware of traditions that make sense from across the world. And when French food marries with a fun wine it certainly needs to be celebrated. It is a simple and fun wine, and is worth a taste as Chef Fabrice Boulahouache from France will create a delectable spread and the promotion will continue from 15th- 18th November at the Governors Restaurant” avers Mr Anura Dewapura, General Manager, Mount Lavinia Hotel.

Chef Fabrice Boulahouache is the executive chef at Boulahouache Group Scandale restaurant in Krakow. His culinary journey started at the age of 9 when he won the competition for junior’s confectionery. Chef Boulahouache has had the opportunity to cook for stars known throughout the world, working in restaurants in Saint-Tropez, Cannes and Paris.
