The pairing of South African cuisine was
presented by Executive Chef Indika the absolute favourites of Cape Legend’s
very own Guy Webber’s celebrated wines was indeed the highlight of the evening.
The well paired couple indeed made the perfect marriage stated a guest at the
event. “If the quality of a dinner can be judged by the quality of wines
poured, this was the best,” states Mr Anura Dewapura, General Manager of Mount
Lavinia Hotel.
The South African wines at the
Winemakers Dinner are solely on the shelves at Global Brands. The evening was
indeed a balance of gourmet cuisine with sheer elegance and endorsed quality
par excellence.
