Mount Lavinia Hotel appreciates Pandit Amaradeva at a memorable event

To be in par with this picturesque experience, The Mount Lavinia Hotel hosts a new dinner-time experience every Sunday night called Ape Kema. Last Sunday there was a little fusion engulfed to the menu as they had a heritage Haal promotion where 25 varieties of rice found in our island nation was produced into some significant dishes. However the promotion was even more exalted when Pandit Amaradeva graced the occasion along with a few dignitaries including H E The President Mr Mahinda Rajapakse and Mr Lalith Weeratunga.

The menu is inspired by the local ingredients of Sri Lanka and served degustation style by a Tourism Legend Chef Publis and complimented with live oriental music by Manoj Pieris- A significant name in the oriental music arena of Sri Lanka.

“I think the fact that the dining experience was indeed memorable by the fact that Pandit Amaradeva being appreciated by His Excellency is indeed an honour to us." states Mr Anura Dewapura, General Manager MLH
