Led by Executive Chef Riccardo Rizzoli, a pioneer in the international culinary industry, the culinary team of Vakarufalhi recently bagged 15 awards including Gold, Silver and Bronze as well as Merit awards at two recently held Culinary Challenges; Food & Hotel Asia, and Hotel Asia – Maldives 2014.
The awards included 2 Gold medals, 4 Silver medals, 9 Bronze medals and 4 Merit Awards covering diverse categories such as Wedding Cake Structures, Hot Cooking, Bread and Pastry Display, Pasta Cooking, Carving and Creative Salad.
